These terms govern your use of Govori — the website at govoriapp.si and the Govori mobile application ("the Service"). By creating an account you agree to them.

2. What the Service is

Govori is a practice tool for the Slovene language exam (A2 and B1 levels). It provides recorded coursebook texts, spoken exercises with automated feedback, flashcards and audiobooks.

Govori is not an official exam provider and is not affiliated with any examination authority. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in passing any exam. Automated feedback is generated by software and may be incomplete or wrong; it does not replace a teacher or an examiner.

3. Your account

4. Free and paid access

Part of the content is free to use, with no time limit and no advertising. Full access is part of a Govori Premium subscription:

PlanPriceBilling
Monthly€12.90every month
Quarterly€34.90every 3 months
Yearly€119.90every 12 months

Website prices: VAT is not charged — small business exemption under Art. 94 of the Slovenian VAT Act (ZDDV-1). In the Android app the subscription is charged through Google Play and the price shown there includes VAT collected by Google.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Payments on the website are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Subscriptions bought inside the Android app are processed by Google Play and are governed additionally by Google's terms.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Jaz → Premium → Manage subscription, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Subscriptions bought through Google Play are cancelled in the Play Store, under Payments & subscriptions.

6. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. Because Govori is digital content supplied immediately, when you subscribe you are asked to expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully supplied. Until you start using the paid content, you may still withdraw within 14 days by writing to yangni0704@gmail.com.

7. Refunds

Beyond the withdrawal right above, we refund on a case-by-case basis — for example if the Service was unavailable for a prolonged period, or if you were charged in error. Write to us and we will respond within 14 days. Refunds are made to the original payment method.

8. Fair use of the AI features

Speaking practice and feedback use paid third-party services, so paid accounts have a generous daily ceiling to prevent abuse, and free accounts have a smaller daily allowance. These limits are reset every day. We may adjust them, and we may suspend accounts that automate requests, resell access, or otherwise use the Service in a way that damages it for others.

9. Acceptable use

10. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design and audio recordings belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own learning. Text you write yourself in the Service (for example your self-presentation drafts) remains yours; you grant us only the permission needed to store it and show it back to you.

11. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation — it depends on third-party providers (hosting, speech recognition, AI). We may change or discontinue features. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will inform subscribers by e-mail and you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused period.

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by e-mail at least 15 days in advance; continuing to use the Service after they take effect means you accept them.

12. Liability

We provide the Service with reasonable care, but to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, for exam results, or for loss caused by circumstances outside our control. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Governing law and disputes

Slovenian law applies. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and may bring proceedings before the courts there. The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We do not use, and are not obliged to use, an out-of-court dispute resolution body.
