Delete your account

Govori is operated by WKEU INVEST, investicije in nepremičnine, d.o.o., Štihova ulica 13, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. You can delete your Govori account and all data linked to it at any time — either inside the app or by writing to us.

1. Delete it yourself (fastest)

1. Open Govori (mobile app or govoriapp.si) and sign in.
2. Go to the Jaz tab (bottom right).
3. Tap Delete account at the bottom of the list.
4. Confirm twice — you will be asked to type DELETE.

The account is removed immediately. Any active subscription is cancelled in the same step, so you are not charged again.

2. Ask us to delete it

If you cannot sign in, e-mail yangni0704@gmail.com from the address you registered with, with the subject Delete my account. We verify the request and delete the account within 30 days (usually within a few days), and confirm by e-mail when it is done.

3. What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in identity (e-mail address / Google identity)
• Learning progress: completed texts, review schedules, streaks, flashcards, exam-practice history and drafts
• Your subscription record and daily usage counters

Deletion is permanent — none of it can be restored afterwards, and progress stored only on your device is cleared together with it.

4. What we keep, and for how long

Payment records (invoices, amounts, dates) are kept by our payment providers Stripe and Google Play, and by us in anonymised accounting form, for as long as Slovenian tax and accounting law requires (currently 10 years). These records cannot be deleted on request — they contain no learning data.

Voice recordings are never stored: speech is transcribed and discarded. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

5. Deleting some of your data without deleting your account

If you want to keep your Govori account but remove part of what it holds, you have two routes:

• In the app: open Jaz → History and tap 🗑 Clear. This permanently deletes your whole exam-practice history — every scored session, its transcript and its feedback — from our servers and from your device. Your account, learning progress and flashcards are untouched.
• By e-mail: write to yangni0704@gmail.com from your registered address and name what you want removed — for example your flashcard deck, your self-presentation drafts, or your lesson progress. We delete it and confirm by e-mail, normally within a few days and always within 30 days. Your account stays open.

The same address handles the other GDPR requests: access, correction and export of your data.

6. Cancelling a subscription without deleting the account

If you only want to stop paying, cancel the subscription instead: on the web, open Jaz → Premium → Manage subscription. Subscriptions bought through Google Play are cancelled in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions. Your account and progress stay intact.
